Stories of patients with long term durable responses to cell and gene therapies make headlines in the media and bring hope to patients in need of treatment options. However, bringing these ATMPs to patients requires navigating a complex and evolving landscape of increasingly efficient trial design, a fast-changing treatment landscape, successful navigation of the regulatory environment, a robust and scalable cell manufacturing process, as well as a patient ecosystem equipped to handle the unique challenges of treating patients with innovative new options.
